About this project
This Christmas gift is designed for Essential Foods in 2021 while working at Abel. Your dog is your best friend and of course she deserves a nice gift under the Christmas tree. The gift contains multiple snack from Essential Foods.
For the bag I’ve made a tapestry using the classic brand illustrations*. The illustrations have mainly been used on the back of the meal bags and on the webpage. The tapestry is a new way of using the illustrations enhancing their decorative abilities. I selected two dusty reds with a tone-on-tone palette for a modern feeling. The text stands out by being printed with gold foil paper and on the back there is made room to write to and from.
For advertisement I created a SoMe post for Essential Foods instagram and an ad for the magazine Hunden both with the same look and feel as the gift itself.
