This logo is designed in 2020 for Beyond Leather while working at Abel. The company has developed a leather alternative (Leap) made of apple waste. Their main goal is to create a more sustainable leather-making practice by up-cycling leftover apples from cider production. Want to know more?

The logotype is designed with upcycling in mind. Using the a also as an e is a subtle hint to the repurposing of resources. The typography Classico URW is chosen for its apple stem like characteristics. The logo icon is a fusion of the a and e.
