About the project: The Mini Delights packaging is re-designed for Essential Foods in 2020. The Mini Delights series consists of Duck, Lamb, Salmon and Turkey (added in 2020) treats. The treats are very popular and the packaging was to be brought up to date.
The design: The illustrations correlating to each treat was made a background thereby making them a prominent feature. The new colors were kept in the same hue as the old (Duck green, Lamb purple etc.) to retain the recognizability. For the bag we chose a see through one so the customer is able to see the product, but added a mat coating for a more luxurious feeling.
